Common Questions and Answers:
What are the advantages of self laminating cable & wire labels? |
Our self-laminating labels include a clear lamination panel that wraps around and over the printed area to protect the printed data from abrasion, heat, and chemicals.
Do my labels have to have a barcode ? |
Absolutely not! We can print any sequence or data on our cable labeling products. And if you need us to print from your data, we offer a variety of data services. Read more here
Should I choose rat tail or self laminating labels? |
Many times either of these products will solve your cable/wire-labeling requirement. However if the label is going to be subjected to abrasion we suggest our self-laminating label. Our rat tail label is perfectly suited to those situations where the "tab" of the rat tail might be more easily read or scanned since it projects off of the cable.
What size label should I use for self-laminating? |
Selecting the proper size label is critical to the success of your cable/wire labeling solution. When using our self-laminating labels you should consider two factors. First, consider what you needed printed on the label. If you are printing a large number of digits or text consider the size of the printing area. For each size of our self-laminating labels you can enlarge a detail of both the printable area and the lamination area.
The second factor to consider is the diameter of the cable or wire you are marking. Each detail section will show you the diameter range the label will fully laminate.
